I can't bring your money back, and believe me, I am sorry you lost it, but maybe I can make you feel at least a little bit lucky. A few weeks ago I had a really bad experience. Went to Burger King in the town I live in and I put my purse on the back of the chiar (never again) and when I got up I had my keys in one hand and my cup in the other. That must've kept me occupied, I threw my cup away and went on my way. Got home and realized when I went to get out of the car that I didn't have my purse. FLEW back to BK- I am talking we were gone a total of 17-18 minutes MAX, and my purse was gone. Pretty obvious- when we were leaving there wasn't anyone in the section where we were sitting at and the cashier was cleaning tables. I had to kinda squeeze by her in order to get out the door. Her boyfriend who does not work in there was standing there talking to her and she was probably 3 tables away from ours. When we got back there still wasn't anyone sitting in our section and our tables was cleaned-chairs pushed in and all, and no purse. No one "seen" it. I think she told her boyfriend that I left it there and to go get it and get outta here. The detective says he suspects her also- guess they've had other purses and things left in there come up missing too. So......drivers license, credit cards, check book, all my pictures and everything ....GONE!! I had a registration to a dingy boat (rubber raft type thing) in there that I really could use back! And they (who ever it was) tried to use my credit card the very next day-thank goodness I had everything cancelled by then! No the place they tried to use it didn't take it from them. Unfortunatley.Sorry to ramble, but I just wanted to tell you I kinda can relate to how you feel, though mine wasn't quite so much money.
