Had our trip booked for awhile (11/2-11/8) at the Poly. Had to change my days because of the air (Southwest booked up so fast and I was away when the rates came out) Tried to get the 6th thru the 11th but nothing is available for me after the 7th. They offered me GF for the full stay or to split my stay. I hate splitting my stay but we did GF last time and was really wanting to go back to the Poly. We're screwed as of now. Who thinks it would be worth my effort to keep calling to see if my other 3 nights open up?:(

I would try Continental! GF is more money, and if you really want to stay at Poly maybe spend the little extra on a different carrier? Also, when we go (Christmas time and early January) Continental is ALWAYS cheaper than Southwest! I know it may be hard to believe, but its true. I'm not sure about your travel dates and the price, but if you have your heart set on Poly that would be what I try next!

Good luck!

Definitely keep trying - rooms open up all the time! This has happened to me so many times, cannot even keep track - but checking is like another job, so be ready for that commitment! :)

:tinker: Sending lots of PD!!:goodvibes

Air is no longer an option to change, I already booked it. My travel agent tried all options and this was the best thing going. Now it's just up to the resort. I suppose I will keep trying and hope for the best. :thumbsup2

On the website just now, it said no availability 6-11, but yes availability 5-11, so maybe try playing with your dates a little, and then cancelling the days you don't need. Don't know why their system does that sometimes, but lots of people have encountered it from time to time. Good luck!

Continental probably wouldn't be cheaper from the OP's location, anyway. If she is in South Jersey, she's probably flying out of PHL. Southwest and USAir are usually cheapest out of PHL.

I would definitely keep calling. I have had good luck with things opening up - check the website too. Sometimes I find things on the website that the call center reps cannot see.

True Bluwater, Southwest is the cheapest and we're leaving out of Phila.

I think the other thing that may be hanging me up is that I asked for a Garden view. There may be other views available for those dates but I won't put out the extra $$. I called this morning and it's still a no go. It burns me that they are asking me for another deposit too because I have the stay split between Poly and GF!

I just check the website as well and it's showing availability in a GV room @ Poly 11/6-11/12 -- so as already suggested, you could book that and then just call back and drop the last night off. So don't worry -- be happy!!!

If it is available on the website I would think you could just tell them to change the dates on your existing resv to the new dates of 11/6-11/12 and transfer the deposit over. If they say the dates are not available -- just ask why it is on the website, but not thru them. Worst case you could book online and then call CRO and cancel your original and have the first deposit refunded. Then wait a day or two and call back to have the last night removed.

I don't know how you're doing it, this is the message I'm getting. Are you talking about the regular www.disneyworld.com website?

The Resort you requested is unavailable for the dates and party size selected. A comparable alternate has been provided. To see if the Resort you requested is available for other dates and party sizes, use the Change Your Search module at right.

Okay...it came right up for me again.

From the WDW home page I used the link to plan a trip. Now I did put it in as "room only"...maybe that's the difference. Anyway, I asked for the dates of 11/6-11/12 for 2 adults/3 children (saw the info in your sig). Then when all the resorts came up, I chose the Poly. Garden-view room was the only option that come up. From the same page I could have added tickets or DDP.

I just did the same search as a package deal and the same exact view came up, with the same dates and same number of children. So it did not matter if you put it in as a room only reservation.

Keep in mind the on line and calling in use different inventory.
If you see what you need on line you may just have to book that and cancel your original.

Hopefully OP has been able to find the same rate quotes we did. :thumbsup2
