Bummed out

I just tried to book the Swan or Dolphin online for Oct 9-14th and both are completely booked.

I know it's columbus day weekend, but I'm truly shocked that they're both full this far in advance. I've stayed at countless Disney hotels and never had a problem getting the room I wanted when I wanted. Unfortunately, my job won't give me any other week off during that general time...

Just kinda bummed out and feeling like venting.

Welcome to the Dis! Sorry you couldn't get the room you wanted Not only is that Columbus Day Weekend, Food & Wine Festival will be going on then which tends to fill up the Epcot resorts quickly. You may have more luck at the other resorts, away from Epcot

When I booked our land/sea package last week, they had rooms at Swan and Dolphin October 12-16. Can you change your dates at all?

Nope. I might call tomorrow though and see. I am trying to use the code form All Ears also and every date I put in says that is not available? I mean, I was just putting in random days just to see...and nothing. That seems weird...

Do those rates go that fast?

Have you tried without a code? Usually, those rates DO go that fast...it doesn't mean they are booked up.

Yup. I ended up switching my dates to Sept. Not crazy about missing the Food & Wine festival & Halloween but still... it's Disney. I got an online only rate of $195 or so for the Dolphin.

I would try calling and see if that's really the case. Sometimes it shows up unavailable online but over the phone you can actually get a room at a good rate. It's worth a call anyway
