Only 11 more days till my "Forty-Tenth" birthday party at WDW!!!! :cool1: Our party of 11 has 4 Garden View rooms at the Grand Floridian for 10 nights, starting January 18th. I love the "old" GF, but I would much rather have the newly refurbished rooms-----you know, the fresh carpeting and more subtle designs and plasma TV, and so on.:thumbsup2

So---all of you incredibly savvy GF experts---which buildings do you KNOW are refurbished, so that I can make an informed room request? We are not staying in RPC or Sugar Loaf (have to concede something to budget), so more interested in the other buildings--Sago, Conch, Boca Chica, Pine, and probably 1 or 2 I left out.

Please help! We will greatly appreciate your input!!!!!!!

:tink:

Just a friendly bump!
We are staying at the GF in March for 9 days and I'd love to know what building to request too!
THANKS !!!!

Hi, have a great bday trip!:wizard:

All the buildings are completed. The new rooms are really pretty and I like the updated electronics, too:goodvibes .

Look for the hidden characters in the curtains, Mickey's on the chair, and more.

Enjoy,

Lives4Disney :)

Back in November, I asked the CMs at the GF front desk when the refurbs would be complete. After a conference and a trip to the mysterious back room of the check-in area (that room always seems to hold all the answers), the CMs came back to tell me that all would be complete on January 8th. But you know how schedules go..............

..........anyway, you confirmed what they told me. And we get nice, recently refurbished rooms. Wonderful! :woohoo:
