I know it's a short trip, but you and your husband can just relax. I remember a few years ago DH and I went for our anniversary just for a long weekend (Thursday night-Sunday evening). We didn't rush around or feel as if we had to do anything. In fact, I remember that one afternoon, we just sat down on a park bench in EP's World Showcase and rested and people watched. That's something we never do with our kids---It's more go, go, go nonstop.

Y'all are going to have a great time! :)

Yeah, that's what I'm trying to remind myself... that this trip is supposed to be for the two of us to get away and have a nice time celebrating our anniversary. I still want to make it to rope drop on the days we go to the parks, but not be focused on "go! go! go!" like we would if the girls were with us!

Your ADR's all look great! Via Napoli is awesome, you're going to love it! And Cape May is sooo good, I hope they don't change it too much after the summer!

I've never done Raglan Road, but I hear such great things about it, I'd really like to try it someday! :thumbsup2

I'm sorry we're not going to try your beloved Le Cellier this time... maybe DH and I can swing it on another trip! ;)

I'm really happy with my choices (now just keep your fingers crossed we can get them booked without any problems!)

The ADRs sound great! I did Raglan Road in 2007, I think they changed their menu a bit since then but I really loved it there.
Hope you get them all when and where you want them!

Now you have me seriously considering the Luau!! I think the girls would enjoy it and I know DH would love the food. So I think I need to talk to DH about adding that. Thanks for that!!:thumbsup2

Oh, and we watched Wishes from the Poly beach in Oct when it was just DH and I... :lovestruc

Love the ADR choices...all the reviews I've read of Via Napoli, Raglan Road and Cape May have been positive so am sure you'll have some great meals! :thumbsup2

I hope the menu doesn't change between now and October, LOL! I've already narrowed my choices down to the beef stew, sirloin burger, or the 10 oz. sirloin. And maybe the Dalkey Duo (battered cocktail sausages) or Heaven on Earth (glazed ribs) appetizer. Oh, man, my mouth is watering!

I think my girls would like the luau, too! But I also think they'd like dinner at 'Ohana... figure we wouldn't do both on the same trip, though.

I think so, too! Really looking forward to our ADRs. Hopefully we can get them all booked!

You know what that means...

Today is my ADR day! And I am very happy to report Kat (my awesome friend and Disney travel agent) was able to get all the ADRs I asked for! Can I get a "woohoo"?! :woohoo:

My ADRs are:

Monday 10/15 - dinner at Via Napoli
Tuesday 10/16 - dinner at Raglan Road
Wednesday 10/17 - dinner at Cape May
Thursday 10/18 - dinner at the Spirit of Aloha luau

In addition to those, I also added breakfast at Boma for Tuesday. Though I'm not 100% sure we'll keep this (but better to book it now rather than later, right?)

Now, I guess I can relax a bit and just wait for October to get here!

YAY!!! Love seeing that number on the countdown! That deserves some dancing!!!:cool1::banana::dance3:
Congrats on your ADR's!!

I LOVE your countdown - how fun!

I tried to get Via Napoli one night, but availability was too late...I bet it will be yummy. Do you think you'll get to Hula at the Spirit show?

We also did our ADRs today, however yours are way more grown up than mine ;) Glad you got all you wanted.

Oooh, great ADRs! Congratulations on getting what you wanted! Doesn't it just suck when you've got them done and there's nothing left to do but twiddle your thumbs? :lmao:
You're making me want to make some changes in my ADRs to get back to Raglan Road! :lmao:

hi Shannon! finally all caught up! you look good!!

i don't know how i'd missed it but our trips will overlap... I'll have to keep an eye out for you.

Last year our dinner at Flying Fish on the Boardwalk finished right on time to watch both sets of fireworks! it was really neat! then we caught a friendship boat to DHS and speedwalked so that we made in slightly ahead of the F! crowd. I also think the boardwalk is fun because it seems like a different atmosphere in the daytime verses the nighttime.

Having ADRs squared away is such a great feeling! Now if only the calendar would magically flip to October!

And yes, now it feels like there's nothing to do but wait!

Aw, thanks! We'll have to coordinate our plans, see if we'll be in the same place at the same time! :thumbsup2

And how cool! I didn't know you could see fireworks from the Boardwalk! I don't think Shane and I will head back to DHS after dinner... walking around the Boardwalk at night sounds like a better plan to me!

Hi, I've really enjoyed your pre-trip report. If you decide not to keep your Boma reservations for breakfast, we really enjoyed Kona Cafe at the Poly for breakfast.

Happy Planning to another Lady Libra!
