Build a Bear for tough guys

Does the Downtown Disney have any Bears or other animals suitable for a big boy of 6?
My DS - big Kindergartener that he is - is a Duck Dodgers and Star Wars fan. I know DD 10 would like to go to Build a Bear, but am wondering if DS will find anything to his liking?

My son is now 11, but both my kids went to BAB when small. Son got bears with pilot and basketball themes. Can't say he is a "tough" guy, but you'd never catch him near anything he considers girly (like Barbies!) Anyway, they have lots ways to make guy-themed bears!

That's good to know. My guy isn't tough either lol but he's positively allergic to anything that is remotely girly.
Do you know if there is any Duck Dodger stuff at disney? or is that Warner Bros.?

Not sure. We are taking our first DL trip next week! I did look on the BAB website and they have most major sports themes, Nascar, Harley, Disney and Sesame Street. The only Disney boy characters that they showed were Buzz and Woody. I got the impression that the Disney BAB store has more Disney-themed stuff, but don't know for sure.

I've done BAB and I'm 16. I got a koala bear, it's not that hard, lots to choose from.

I think you will have great luck finding an animal and an outfit for your tugh guy! They have tons of sports themed outfits, outdoorsy/camping outfits, motrocycle gear and a few Disney characters too.....you can look around prior to purchasing so maybe he could see if there was something he liked before totally committing?

We saw groups of teenage boys waiting in line to do their bears and they were chatting away about which one they were having, what they were calling it and what outfit they would be buying!!! I thought it was nice to see them losing their "hard" image for a while.

DS 11 loved making his B-A-B last year. He made a frog in a divers outfit and now has it sitting on his bed. There´s nothing remotely girly about his "bear" and I´m sure your son will have a blast.

Well, I bought my super macho carbuff husband a lion with overalls on Valentines Day. He loves it. However, now I get woken up with "Roaaar!" because I had a voice box put into the lion and it is activated by pushing the hand!
