Do they have special Disney clothes or other Disney bears/animals or is it just similar to the ones that we all have at our local malls? When watching our planning DVD my dd (4) saw BaB and went nuts! Part of me thinks she is even more excited about getting to do a BaB than even the rides right now! She is telling people that she is getting to go to Disneyland and going to Build a Bear! So I am going to let her do it but I am hoping that it won't be the same old stuff as we have here at the mall!
Thanks for any info you have!!

I thought there were some special Disney clothes? Do you have all the princesses at your local BAB? I THINK they even had some of the Disney Fairies and I KNOW they had Tiana dresses. (Well, their likeness to the "real" Tiana dress wasn't great--they looked a bit like Tinkerbell's dress to be honest--but they were still cute.)

They definitely have special clothes. At least compared to our malls here. I kind of regretted not letting my boys do Buzz and Woody clothes thinking we could get them here at home...and we couldn't. :(

I bought one "only in Disneyland" outfit at BaB. It was a white T shirt/red sleeves with Mickey on the front and the words "Disneyland" underneath. It came with black Mickey Ears.
Couldn't resist. There used to be Mickey hand gloves as well - but I couldn't find them when I was there.

My mom lets my younger sister and I get a BAB everytime we go. They have a very good selection of all disney clothes. Some are costumes like characters, and otehrs are just princess shirts, skirts, or mickey clothes. They also have glass slipper shoes or merchandise that is disney related. We have just about all the costumes they sell for disney now.

thanks so much!! Ours does have some of the princesses but not much....it is a very limited disney selection so I was hoping that there would be more choices at this one!

I have this picture from our visit and it shows some of the costumes. This was taken in Sept 09.

You can also "build" a Mickey or a Minnie, which you can't do at any other BAB store that I know of.

OMG!! Those are sooooo cute!! We didn't go in BAB as I was thinking it would be same as at home. I can't wait to go back at take my daughter, I'm not worried about her wanting everything, I'm worried about me wanting everything for her!!!! Ahhhhh so cute

Does anyone have a pic of these?? We do not need another bear, but there is always room for another Mickey or Minnie.;)

Yes, I would love to see a photo of the build a Mickey or Minnie, I agree, no more bears but like you said, always room for a Mickey or Minnie. Also does anyone have a photo of the Tianna dress?? Would love to see that. Hope they will still have them in Dec. or maybe they will even have a few extra Toy Story ones with the release of Toy Story 3 in June!!! I can't wait.:goodvibes:thumbsup2:banana:

I must confess, I'll be eighteen by the time of my trip and I'm SUPER excited to go to Build-A-Bear. :woohoo: Those little Disney dresses and t-shirts are so cute. My dad brought me back the little Stitch costume, and it's adorable on my current build-a-bear.

Also, with a little digging, I found a Minnie Mouse Build-A-Bear on eBay:

Cute. She's wearing a little Snow White dress that apparently the Disneyland Downtown Disney has. Also, I found a Winnie the Pooh that's supposedly from Build-A-Bear:

We were there a month ago. No Mickey or Minnie. Check out the Disney shirts with the Mickey ears. The hat lights up.....so cool.

Yes, they take the regular BAB gift cards, as well as any coupons you have too.

We have never been to Build a Bear but my daughters have really wanted one. Is it more expensive then at regular build a bear stores?

Will they take the regular Build a Bear gift cards?

Yes. You can also find BaB coupons in the local free magazines called "Orange County" or something like that. They have those in the airport and most hotel lobbies (where the brochures for attractions are found). BaB will let you combine them, too. The coupons are generally $5 off a $25 purchase.

Sometimes you can do a Google search and find printable coupons, but BaB was trying to suppress that last time I checked so I'm not sure whether or not it still works.
