Buick test drive offer

Has anyone reseached the Marriott Bonus Bucks?? I tryed. They are a THIRD PARTY incentive. They have many restrictions for use.

Would you please post what you found regarding restrictions? It might save someone a trip to their local Buick dealer.

Okay... here are some restrictions I found for another Marriott Bucks program with HP. I would imagine the restrictions are the same or at least very similar to the Buick program. I tried to copy and paste them here, but I am technologically challenged, so the best I could do was paste a link to the page where I found the "terms and conditions". 2. You must book directly with Marriott, and a consecutive two (2) night paid stay is required. Only one (1) $100 Bonus Bucks Coupon is applicable per two (2) night stay.

6. This coupon is issued by and is the property of MI Fulfillment Services, LLC. Bonus Bucks Coupons are not redeemable for cash or Marriott Gift Certificates. No change or credit will be given on any unused portion of the $100 Bonus Bucks Coupons

7. Bonus Bucks Coupons may be used for all publicly listed and available room rates. Bonus Bucks cannot be used in conjunction with any other certificate stays and certain discounts.

8. Bonus Bucks are not replaceable if lost, stolen, destroyed or expired.

Sorry to be a bother.... I took another look at the website posted by the OP.... why are we doubting the terms and conditions listed there? I do remember reading them when I originally printed my certificate. Should I have reason to believe that there are further restrictions not listed there? We are staying with a negotiated rate at the Albuquerque NM Marriott for a wedding. The terms and conditions listed don't give me any reason to believe I would be unable to use my certificate. Does anyone else have other information to the contrary? Thanks.........P

The problem you may have is you are using a NEGOTIATED rate and that is not a PUBLICLY available rate. Although I have read on the other forums for Marriott users that many hotels (Renaiisance and Marriott) willl take them without question as cash...it is just something to be aware of.

I have not ever used Bonus Bucks but I have been part of many Marriott promotions and they are fairly easy to use.

where we have reservations booked through a convention (yes, we're actually taking DS9 to the massive Star Wars Celebration III event in April---they're expecting 30,000 people! ). I called reservations and explained that we'll have a discounted room which was booked through the Indy Convention Bureau, but was hoping I could still use Marriott Bonus Bucks for the stay. He said as long as we're staying 2 nts. and one of the nts. is a Friday or Saturday, there's no problem using them!

I did my test drive yesterday after work, they did make me do the test, even though I was up front with them. They were very nice however and no pressure at all. I hope they don't run out of certificates. Going to CKU and staying at the Marriott in May.
