Bugs?

I'm going to WDW for the first time in the begining of June and wondering if I should be worried about bugs at that time? and what items do you suggest fighting them off? It'll be my DH, myself and my 1yr DS. Thanks in advance!!

The main thing you have to worry about is mosquitos, they are BAD in florida in the summer. Take some bug repellant, and that should hord off anything that might come around you, I've seen some flies also, but they don't mess with you too bad. Definedly take the off, the mosquitos are worst at dusk.

The mosquitos are really bad- but at like taget, wal-mart, etc. , you can get Off! wipes! The are like bug spray, but in a wipe form that is really easy to carry on, and you dont miss spots like you may with regular bug spray. They also may spray on Sun-block which I HIGHLY reccommend for the same reasons. Have a good time

We spent 10 days in WDW last late July-early August. We didn't have any problems with mosquitos...we didn't see any that I recall. (We stayed at BCV).

This is something that I have used and to me there is nothing better to keep mosquitoes away. (I have 2) You can find this product in just about any Wally World sporting goods department you come to and most all other Sporting Good stores. It is really inexpensive for what it can do. *about $20 to $30) It is simple and there is no mess to deal with. I'm surprise that more people have not heard about it.
I should note this is a product that you stay in one place with and not really made to walk around with, but if you're sitting outside trying to relax it's worth its weight in gold.
