Anyone have any idea if there are alot of mosquitos in the parks in August? We are bringing down insect repellent (Burt's all natural so the baby can wear). I am just curious as to if the bugs are really bad. We will also be staying at POR and I am curious as to the bug situation there because of all the water.

I've never encountered any mosquitoes in the parks or at the resorts during the summer months. Maybe I just got lucky but I imagine Disney has some kind of fumigation process since they would know fighting off mosquitoes isn't anyone's idea of fun. If you want to be on the safe side then bring the repellent, it certainly won't hurt anything. :)

We go to Disney every August and not once have we ever encounted a bug bite. I have always wondered how they deal with the bugs because they are out, at least in other parts of Florida in August. Tell us you secret!!
