Bug Spray

We are leaving in 6 days and wondering...will we need bug spray in the parks or at night? We have a lot of mosquitoes in MA, but not sure about Florida.

I have never brought bug spray to the parks and I have never been bitten by mosquitos....here in TN I get eaten by them in the summer. I think you will be fine, but other posters may have other opinions.

The ONLY place we had any problems was at Fantasmic. Not sure what was going on there. DH and I actually walked around the parks discussing the lack of bugs.

I say bring it, if you need it use it, if not bring it back home! I found that Fantasmic and AK were heavy with mosquitos....

Maybe all the spraying water at Fantasmic? Of course, there's lots of other spraying water in smaller degrees.

Anyway...I've never really noticed many bugs at all at WDW...I know they use ladybugs for pest control, and I think it works well!

We've ALWAYS brought bug spray & NEVER used it once.

Next time, I'm leaving it home.

We were just there a week ago. Brought some OFF with us, but we never needed it. And we were in MK until very very late.

Never came up in my one and only time there, but as I am returning next week, I was glad to see that it shouldn't be needed.

Just got back a week ago and didn't see a single bug all week.

"Disney doesn't allow those on the property," Hubby said.

I agree we took it with us and didn't need it but sure as anything if we didn't have it we would have needed it!!

By the way from reading the posts before we went most people were suggesting Avon skin so soft but it had to be the woodland fresh I think its called now. The bugs just don't seem to like it and hey bonus for us then.

We always bring and use "bug wipes." The bugs were biting during Illuminations.
