We will be going in April 2011 and next month we will be having to make our ADR's, we will have 3 very hungry appetite teens. :confused3 Can anyone tell me which are considered to be the ideal buffets to take them?

Thanks for the help, everyone.

We just got back from Disney, and these were our favorite pig out all-you-can-eat places...

Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge (OMG- we ate so much food, we thought we'd die)

Tuskerhouse at the Animal Kingdom (There was so much food here, I didn't even get to try it all)

Liberty Tree Tavern in the Magic Kingdom (this is not a buffet, but it's served family style and all you can eat. So they will keep bringing out more dishes till you tell them to stop)

Crystal Palace

If they like barbeque then the skillet at Whispering Canyon is bottomless. It gets mixed reivews on here, but we enjoyed it. The salad, cornbread and pulled pork were really yummy. I didn't care for the brisket or corn on the cob, but you can get more of any of the items that you want.

Of couse Ohana for dinner could be a huge pig out as well.

I second Tusker House for breakfast as well (haven't tried lunch). We love TH!!!

The Luau at the Poly serves a scary amount of food, if you are up for a dinner show.

Ohana is family style and so that is endless. it's delicious! So is WCC's skillet, that is so filling plus you can get a shake as your drink on the ddp.

Breakfast- Chef Mickey's, Ohana (family style), Cape May Cafe (Me and my wife's fav), 1900 Park Fare(my son's fav because there's ice cream for breakfast) and Boma Breakfast is just about the same everywhere. Boma and Tusker House have a little more variety.

Lunch- We've only eaten at Hollywood and Vine and wouldn't recommend that to anyone :sad2:

Dinner- Boma, Crystal Palace, and Trail's End are our top 3.

Chef Mickey's, O'Hana (served family style) , 1900 Park Fare, Crystal Palace, Liberty Tree Tavern (served family style) Tusker House

for hungry teens (i traveled w/six of them last trip!) we found the best meals were 'ohana, hoop dee doo revue, and garden grill... they seemed to eat less at the buffets (too overwhelming? too indecisive? too lazy to get up?! who knows! LOL!) and were hungry for a snack sooner after the meal than the family styles listed above...

If they are into seafood then Cape May Cafe for dinner is good. They also have other items-I found enough to eat without eating any seafood.

Check out the menus for ideas of what they each serve. They should find lots to eat at buffets and family style meals.
