buffets - changing from lunchtime to dinnertime? (Biergarten)

do they completely shutdown the buffets? or just add for dinner, etc?
If lunch buffet goes till 345 will they tell us no more at 345?

I had a PS for Biergarten at 310 but changed to 245. Afraid that they would shut down the buffet and what if we werent seated right away?
But now Im thinking that they may just add dinner items to their buffet and we would have had a larger choice. Anyone know how restaurants handle the changeover?

Our experience is that they add dinner items. And you get it at lunch prices. Not bad. But, that is a weird time to eat either meal.

Are the sauerbraten and Fish the only things they add at Biergarten for dinner or are there other choices? Is there a difference in entertainment?
