Buffets...breakfast & dinner

As I sit here another night & plan this WDW vacation my husband wants to know which buffets are the best for breakfast & dinner? He loves the buffets because he can eat as much as he wants too. I on the other hand don't care much for alot of them but I go to humor him. This is the first (and probably the last question he will ask about this vacation). I gave up asking him for his opnions because I got the standard "I don't care, whatever you decide" answer. I have tried over & over again to get him to pick restaurants for our trip. I should have known it wasn't gonna happen...he can't even tell me what he wants for dinner on a daily basis, why would I think he would care about dinner that's 3 months down the road. If there are any in the parks, even if you don't like them, please let me know.

Thanks!

A great buffet for breakfast is at 1900 Park Fayre in the Grand Floridian

but there will be characters does that affect your choice?

I should mention that we are going to try to avoid the character dining experiences for the most part.

We enjoyed Hollywood & Vine at MGM. The food was surprisingly good. I also really liked the buffet at Biergarten in Epcot.

I agree Hollywood and Vine had a great buffet, but other than that I can't think of any other buffets inside the parks without characters.

Boma in the AKL has one of the best buffets. Yacht Club Gallery (for breakfast) gives you the choice of a buffet or ordering off the menu.

Both give you good food and no characters.

we have the same dilemma at our house.

we go to trail's end (nice buffet, not the enormous selection of some but plenty to pick from) which is reasonably priced, you also might like wcc as your husband can get the ayce skillet but you don't have to.

thankfully as husband is getting older his appetite is shrinking so we both decided most of the ayce type meals are just not cost effective for us.

Our family loves Ohana. It's not your typical buffet. A waiter or waitress will bring the food to you on skewers. It is cooked in a large firepit and brought to your table. You just tell the waiter or waitress if you want it and they will serve it to you off the skewer. They also bring appatizers to your table before the skewers of meat. It's all you can eat in the sense that you tell your waiter or waitress if you desire more.

We also like Boma at AKL. The food is really good and their is a lot of variety.

Good luck in whatever you choose.

I've heard rave reviews of the Trail's End buffet, which is also one of Disney's best kept secrets AND bargains, I have been told.
