Hi all!
What's your take on the buffets available at WDW? Which restaurants have them? Are there any buffet-style character meals available?

We've done Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner at MK. Not buffet but it is "all you care to eat" with characters. We liked it. :goodvibes Also not in the parks, but a quick trip on the monorail is Park Faire at GF. It's our fav. buffet. :thumbsup2. We did Biergarten in Epcot about 8 years and remember it as being good. It's non character buffet.

We haven't tried any other buffets at the parks-I'm sure other disboarders have.

Happy dining!

We love Crystal Palace. If you want to make a trip to some of the resorts, Boma (Animal Kingdom Lodge) is awesome and the all you can eat skillet and milk shakes at Whispering Canyon Cafe (Wilderness Lodge) are good too.

One of our favorite buffets and overal restaurants is Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom. We've always found the food to be some of the best on our trip. Also Winnie the Pooh characters are there including: Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet. We always make sure to go every trip and plan on going back next time!

I am pretty sure that Hollywood Vine *MGM* is back in the mornings doing Buffet Breakfasts... and when they were doing them back in the day they were GREAT!

Here's our favorite character buffets:

Dinner buffets - Park Fare and Crystal Palace
Breakfast buffet - Donald's in AK
Family style dinner - Ohanna
Family style breakfast - Princess Storybook (Norway)

Our favorite Breakfast is AK Donalds' Restaurantosaurus, Dinner:LTT, both character meals, and we have always enjoyed Chef Mickey's both Breakfast and Dinner, much character interaction.

For theme parks buffets - my favorite is Crystal Palace. I've only been for dinner, but there was a wide variety of food and good character interaction (Pooh characters). Donald is my favorite character, but unfortunately, I did not like Donald's Breakfastosourus. I thought the food there was mediocre and the characters were very rushed. Might have hit it on a bad day because many people seem to love it.

For non-park buffets, my favorite, by far is Boma at AKL. Wide variety of interesting choices.

We always go to CP in MK for dinner ...the food is very good and it is nice to sit and relax, recharge the batteries so to speak...DH is a huge fan of the roast pork and turkey....and the chocolate chip cookies

For breakfast buffets we've gone to:
Boma at AKL: :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
Donald's Breakfastasaurus: :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
Chef Mickey's: :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

For Dinner buffets:
Boma: :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
Biergarten: :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
Hollywood & Vine (Fantasmic Pkg.) :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
Chef Mickeys: :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
For the parks, I think that Crystal Palace at magic Kingdom has one of the best buffets - the characters are Eeyore, Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and sometimes Rabbit - we have had very good character interaction here. The food is standard buffet food selections but it has always been fresh and tasty. The breakfast is good too. :thumbsup2
