I've tried to search on this, but the search function is not working again...what's up with that?

Anyway, our children are finally 12 and 14 years old "adults." How strict are the restaurants about young adults and buffet meals? My son (12) and daughter (14) still eat pretty small portions, so I have problems with paying the adult prices at the buffets for kids who still eat like children. We'd like to eat at Boma's and the Liberty Tree. Will we be allowed to let the children order the kid's buffet?

What advice and experiences have others had with this topic?

Thank-you.

I believe buffets are priced by age only. Children of any age do not have to eat exclusively from the 'kids' buffet nor are adults prevented from making selections there.

If your kids are really light eaters you may be better off eating from a non-buffet restaurant.

Buffet restaurants aren't likely to start charging less for light eaters (regardless of age) unless they start charging more for heavy eaters.

Sounds like you should skip the buffets.
