Buffet on DDP

I second Crystal Palace. Some would say CRT but my DDs are more into Pooh and co. than Princesses....

Cape May is the only buffet we still continue to visit (also Trails End too, but pay OOP for this one).

The breakfast buffet at Chef Mickey's is a winner with us - the food is pretty good and the characters are great! We ate at the Hollywood and Vine buffet last Aug. as part of the Fantasmic package - we weren't overly impressed with that one. We've done Crystal Palace at lunch for the Pooh Character Meal and thought that one was pretty good - the only reason we haven't gone back is that our kids have outgrown the Pooh characters.

In my opinion if you have picky eaters (like my kids) buffets are easier since there is always something everyone likes.

Enjoy!:goodvibes

I know a buffet isnt the same as family style service. But these deserve consideration as well, as a great option to get everyone's bellies full of great food, with character interaction as well. There's the Garden Grill in FW at Epcot, Liberty Tree in MK does a fam style dinner, and there is also 'Ohana, for breakfast or dinner as well. In some ways, this could even be better than a buffet, as there is still *some* variety, and there is no going through buffet tables/ lines for each person/ plate etc:goodvibes
Just my 2 cents, enjoy

The princess meal at Epcot (Norway) has a buffet for aps, the entree is ordered off a menu, than the dessert is fam style

my kids like chef mickey's breakfast, Me 30 year old, love crystal place breakfast, but get ressies before the parks open much better trust me. beside that I have only tried ohana's dinner which really isn't a buffet, but is all you can eat (good food). Also have been to Boma's dinner very cool atmosphere, exotic foods. Was glad to go, worth the try! I do mostly breakfast buffets.

We are looking for something outside of the parks because we do not know what parks we will be going to return to at the end of our trip. See we are going for 10 days and we have the 6 day ticket with Water park plus. We will go to the 4 disney parks, Universal, Gatorland, Cape Kennedy to see the space shuttle, but the other days we do not know which parks we are going to go into so we do not want to book something in a park and have to use our 2 remaining days for that park just to eat.
Also another question: How many days of water parks do you get with a 6 day + water park ticket?

went 4/07. Food was quite good (prime rib, salmon, chicken marsala, shrimp/asparagus pasta), nice assortment of food and Cinderella, etc. It's in the grand Floridian---we did this one b/c wee took grandparents and did not want t pay for Park tickets.

Last question first - you get 5 water park/DisneyQuest/Pleasure Island/WWoS visits if you buy the Water Park Fun & More add-on to your base ticket. The rule of thumb from mousesavers.com is that this is a good deal if you will make at least 2 visits to BB/TL/DQ.

First question - I bet I'm going to miss something but here goes anyway:
AYCTE buffets outside the parks (all 1 TS credit): Cape May, Boma (my personal favorite), Chef Mickey's, 1900 Park Fare.

AYCTE 1-TS-credit family-style outside the parks: Trail's End, 'Ohana, Whispering Canyon.

All of these have breakfast and dinner; Trail's End and Whispering Canyon are the only ones that do lunch.

Thanks this is what I have been looking for. So with a 6 day ticket I will get 5 days of water parks and more?
