How are the buffet meals at FW. We will be staying there end of Nov. Which buffet meals do you prefer? DS works for Disney and when we arrive on Saturday we are deciding where we want to eat, just curious if the buffets are Fort Wilderness are good and worth trying them

Trails End buffet is one of our favorites! The food is good, filling and the price is low!

Thanks, since it would be Thanksgiving weekend do you think reservations would be necessary, as there would be 5 of us, or is it big enough that we wouldn't have to worry?

We really enjoyed dinner at Trail's End in Jan. They have a rep for being a good value as well. The menu page can give you a full list of their offerings, it's hard to remember but I recall everything being fresh, I esp enjoyed the veggies--crisp tender green beans. good fried chicken, ok ribs. chili, cornbread...rice crispy treats for dessert. I would say that the atmosphere is the least appealing to me--it really looks like a campground. We have an adr again in Sept, hope to take the hayride, it wasn't running the night we were there last time.
I've also heard great things about breakfast there too!!!
ENJOY!

I would make an ADR just because that is a very busy weekend, just to be safe. It's not as big as CM or CP. The food is really good and the service is excellent. It is a stop for us on every trip.

I would make an ADR as soon as you can. The fried chicken at dinner is good. We ate there on March 4th. We parked at the visitors lot, took the internal bus in and ate at Trails End. After dinner we took the boat to the contemporary and went up to the 4th floor observation outside deck to watch wishes. The boat ride back to the campground was very relaxing.

thanks for all the good feedback. I will be making reservations in July for CLP and will definitely make a reservation for Trails End. Will talk to DS and plan accordingly. thanks everyone for the info.
