Our grandkids LOVED Boma. We are staying at AKL 1 night in May before our cruise and the one thing the kids said is "I want to eat at that buffet". I know they had mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, spaghetti and plain sauce in the kid area. But they also ate the roasted chicken, salad, fruit, cookies, cupcakes, zebra domes, and a desert that had coffee in it. They tried the butternut squash soup but it was a no go.
Now Ohanna's was a different story. They didnt like it at all. The server didnt OFFER anything different for the kids but we didnt ask either. The salad is predressed and the kids didnt like the dressing. They didnt like the steak or shrimp skewers but ate the chicken. They didnt like the chicken wings or the pot stickers. They ate the noodles but the steamed vegetables were undercooked and cold and nobody liked those. Our service was really slow and by the time desert came they were too tired.
I have never tried Askersus but in looking at the menus for kids if I were to try, we would probably do breakfast.
1900 Park Fare is kid friendly with chicken nuggets, cheese pizza, mac and cheese. Along with regular buffet items. For us it was just OK.
I would agree with another poster that Garden Grill has some good offerings for kids and adults and you get Mickey, Chip and Dale and Pluto to tableside.
