Will be staying at CSR end of April. Does anyone know for sure if they have switched over to a buffet for breakfast and lunch. Some things I read say just lunch and some include both. I would appreciate any information. I am hoping no buffet for breakfast!
Thanks!
Both breakfast and lunch are a buffet. Dinner is the only non-buffet meal at Pepper Market.
Last week I had the breakfast buffet and I really enjoyed it. The buffet had everything you could possibly want for breakfast: REAL crispy bacon, Mickey waffles, French toast, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, made-to-order omelettes, breakfast potatoes, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, muffins and other pastries, and even sausage links I think.
The day we did the breakfast buffet we skipped lunch and had an early dinner at 4:30pm. We weren't even hungry for dinner still! I didn't eat too much at the buffet, really...2 triangles of French toast, fresh fruit, one biscuit with gravy, and my favorite part, about 4 slices of bacon. It was all excellent which really surprised me because I don't like breakfast foods generally unless I make them myself at home, nor am I a big eater in the morning. But, I wish we would have done the breakfast buffet more than once.
We were on the
DDP so the price of the buffet didn't bother us, but if you are not on the dining plan, it can still be a great value considering most single breakfast entrees are about $9 and the price of a beverage such as milk or juice would be around $3 which puts you at $12 give or take. I think the breakfast buffet was $14.99 and you can eat as much as you could possibly want, with so much variety. If you want more of a certain thing, you can get more of it...like bacon!
