I got this Ding fare also ($46 for my dates).
So for BUF - MCO Dec 17 I have a $45 ding fare for me, DH, DD8, DS5 (booked early Sept)
For MCO - BUF (me and the two kids) I have a $46 Ding fare Jan 8 (booked yesterday)
For DH coming home I had to pay for a regular fare since I have never seen Dec 31 MCO - BUF go on DING (always shows up unavailable)
My mom may be joining us so I have booked her a regular BUF - TPA fare for Dec 28 (since I have never seen this date go on DING either, always comes up unavailable)
I have booked my mom a $46 DING Jan 8 MCO - BUF
All in all it is costing us less then 750 US for the 5 of us to fly. I know that this is more then a lot of people but I had to spend extra to get mom down to TPA Dec 28 and also extra for DH to fly home Dec 31.
Still I think that these fare prices are amazing compared to what I would have spent for 5 people holiday season out of Toronto.
Imagine how cheap it would be if we flew at non peak times???
I think I am done checking ding so closely. I feel great about the $45 (outbound) and $46 (inbound) ding fares and I can't see the BUF-TPA Dec 28 or MCO-BUF Dec 31 ever going on sale. So out of 10 flight legs, 8 were very cheap.
Any thoughts/suggestions?
Thanks again to those who gave me all the input about ding/SWA in the first place. We would never have been able to go to Florida again so soon if we didn't know about flying out of BUF.
This board is so informative.
