When they say "breakfast buffet" what do they mean? I travel a lot on work, and I have seen a "breakfast buffet" mean everything from bagels with choice of butter or cream cheese, to a full hot buffet with everything from eggs to pancakes and grits. Anyone had it lately and can describe? It sounds like a great value if you can full up on it ( i like to eat a really big breakfast and not eat again till dinner)

if it's anything like their sister hotel Caribe Royale (same property right next door) it will be good. at Caribe we had french toast, ham, sausage, oatmeal, eggs, fruit bar, cereals, juices, etc

again that wasnt much help but they have 2 top notch restaurants on their premises (Buena Vista) so I imagine they would have a good full breakfast.

That is exactly what Buena Vista's breakfast is too. It was very good for a hotel buffet.

We stayed at BVS for three nights in February.

For breakfast they had bagels, scrambled eggs, potatoes, toast, donuts, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, grits, cold cereal, milk, juice, coffee, tea, & hot chocolate every day. They have "eggs to order" but not in terms of omelettes, just scrambled or sunny side up or something like that.

Then they rotated through sausage one morning, ham another morning, and bacon another. I love my breakfast meats, so this was great!

They also rotated through pancakes and french toast. One morning there were french toast sticks, but that's the one thing I remember being nasty - ugh!

Everything else was just great though! I was very pleased! We were a group of 4 adults and 2 kids in one suite, so having the breakfast there each morning was very worth it!

It's probably the best complimentary breakfast I've ever had in a hotel.

However, I am about to stay at the Embassy Suites in Orlando, and they have complimentary made-to-order breakfasts - so I haven't had that to compare to yet. But before I lucked out with good deal there, I did try checking out a suite at BVS again, so that is near the top of my list for off-site hotels.

Overall though, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at BVS.

We just got back from a week at Buena Vista Suites - and I agree - the best breakfast buffet I have had in a hotel that was also free. Now, my son loved the french toast strips - I did not try them. I think you have a very good description above of what is offered. The only thing I will add is that the staff that cleans up is very efficient and very friendly. As soon as you go to get another plate of food, they clean up your dishes. The same is true when you leave - there were never tables sitting with dirty dishes on them. Great breakfast and great service!
