Which hotel would you recc? We are taking 3 little ones, so we would like to go back in the middle of the day for a break. We are renting a car, and plan to spend most time at MK.

The prices are close enough where it does not matter one way or the other. I'm more intersted in being easier to get to car wise.

Thanks!

Vistana....no contest...more room/more amenities, and IMHO better facilities. They're down the street from each other so location is not a factor. :smooth:

Hav'nt stayed at Vistana, but did stay at BV Suites, and I would choose Vistana. We were quite disappointed w/BV Suites and its amenities, small and dark rooms, small pool, thats about it.

BV has been redone and gets great reviews.

I don't think there is much different - the Sheraton Vistana is in the block - BV is at the end and across the street (okay highway - BIG highway).

time wise - SV might win - but it depends upon the way you get back. 535 & 536 - then BV wins, I4 - SV, dd- SV.

We would DEFINITELY stay there again. The rooms were not small and dark. The pool was small, but we didn't use it much anyway. The breakfast had anything you could want including made-to-order eggs. FREE. I used the fitness and laundry facilities as well which were basic, but all I needed. We were very pleased. I think the only thing negative was that in the evenings, there wasn't a quick food place there--the restaurant was wonderful, but pricey and sometimes we didn't want a full or fancy meal. If you keep food in the room or get something on your way back, you'd be OK. It is also very easy to get to and from the World.

I've never stayed at BV Suites.......so I can only speak for Vistana.
I've been an owner there for 12 years. Very spacious 2 bedroom/2 full bathrooms/balcony/full kitchen/washer & dryer. Not sure if BV offers this ? Are they a 1 bedroom with a living room and fold out couch ? Vistana does offer 1 bedrooms, but most villas are 2 full bedrooms/2 full bathrooms/living room/dining room/kitchen. We love having a balcony---makes a big difference in our stay and the ones at Vistana are enclosed so very safe for little ones. The grounds are beautiful at Vistana. Two full serve restaurants onsite, as well as a Pizza Hut and General Store. Room service available from all restaurants to your room. There are alot of children's activities at the resort as well----you'll be given an activities calendar upon check-in.
And since you mentioned the drive was important to you, Vistana is very close to wdw. Maybe an 8-15 min drive depending on which park you're driving to. We usually take the DD route as Spicey stated for our trip back from the parks at the end of the day. We find we encounter less traffic. So when you're leaving the MK (or any other park at the end of the day), just follow signs for DD/Marketplace and exit via the Hotel Plaza Blvd road. Will bring you out to the Crossroads shopping center then you take a right back to Vistana. Maybe 3 lights ?
Good luck with your decision !

Definitely the Vistana Resort!! More room, playgrounds for the little ones, great pools, and ponds with ducks that you can feed. Frankly, both resorts are easy to get to/from Disney since they are very close to each other. However, you will appreciate the room at the Vistana - and, especially, having a washer/dryer in your unit. It's a great perk for families!
