Buena Vista Suites for $5.00/night???

I was stunned...looked for a suite close to WDW. BV looked like it fit the bill. I typed in the date I wanted (one Thursday night in October for 1 night -2 adults/1 3yo).

AAA rate for all the bedroom types: $5.00! I thought there had to be a mistake so I continued with the reservation. Total cost: $5.62 after tax! There must be a glitch but I will fight them on it if they try to change it.

I booked it directly on their website. I tried to do it for the following Saturday for one night but no such luck - the rates were "regular" and not $5.00.

I booked for Thursday, Oct. 11th for 1 night with the AAA rate...

Remember when this happened to another Orlando hotel I think maybe it was a Holiday Inn. People were booking a $5.00/night rate. What ever happened to those reservations? Did it get honored?

I hadn't heard about this happening before in Orlando (my first trip there). I do remember when United Airlines had an online glitch where all flights anywhere in the world was $25.00!!! Wish I knew about that - hundreds of travelers made reservations before United fixed the glitch but they did honor that price. Let's hope BVS does, too.

I think I had a screen open to a reservation for the $5 room and I was bumped out.

I was able to get it for the 11th and 12th. When I took off Sat. Oct. 13th the $5 AAA rate appeared. Hope they honor it!

aaa rates do show for dates OTHER than oct 11 and 12th but not for EVERY day of the year.

I'm so glad to read more people have been able to get this!! I, too, wish there were more dates available for this rate but hey, I'll take what I can get for $5!

OK, I finally got in via the website I first got in, through cariberoyale's website. I guess they are related.

I also found AA rate of $10 for Dec 5th and $5 for Dec 6th, if that helps anyone.

I just got those dates as well. Oct 11 and Oct 12, check out on the 13th.
$11.24 total. It'll be interesting to see if they honor it. Thanks APOOHFN!
