BUENA VISTA SUITES-experiences?

Has anyone ever stayed at Buena Vista Suites?
I was quoted a great rate-$79 including breakfast for weekend before Christmas.(12/19-12/22) I can also stay at POR for $139there is no availability at All-star resorts.
I will have a car so transportation to parks is not an issue..
I am booking a last minute Christmas treat for the kids-but still trying to save the money.

They have just undergone (or are in the process of completing) a complete renovation. The pictures look great! It's in a very nice location and easy to get too (also easy to get to the outlet malls from there). Close to some very good restaurants. I've never actually stayed there though, so I can't help there.

I just stayed there for one night with my family of 6 on Nov 30th , It's a nice hotel. Bed were very comforable. Breakfast was okay. .I love staying at disney but if you are trying to save money , this is a nice hotel.. I would stay there.

We just got back from Disney - stayed 2 nights at BVS and 4 nights at Pop. I was very impressed with the Buena Vista Suites. Location was great - very close and easy to get to Disney. Lots of restaurants around. Room was very clean and very nice. Breakfast was nice - not anything extravagant, but had nice selection - eggs, potatoes, pancakes or french toast sticks, cereal, bagels, muffins, yogurt/fruit, etc. I would say it was a great value for the money.

I think I will go w/BVS-the money I save can go towards something else I am sure we will be doing those few days-like food or MVMCP.
