Buena Vista Palace - good or bad

Hi there

We're making progress on booking our trip for this summer. We've got a good price for the Buena Vista palace, but i've seen mixed reviews on trip advisor. Anyone been? Can you let me know what you think? Our part is me, DH and DD who is 7 and will turn 8 during our trip

We have stayed there several times and really like it as a resort and a location.

The downside is that breakfast is expensive but a quick trip to perks halves the price.

The pool is lovely with quite a lot of shade available. The rooms are quite big but the wardrobes in some rooms are very small. They also took away the in room safes a while ago, not sure if they are back or not. Ask for a room looking towards DDM as you get great views of the fireworks.

We went for my mum's 50th celebrations and it's a really great hotel.

There is free shuttle access to all the parks from near reception, which stops at a few hotels in the surrounding area. Plus it's across the road from DTD and the DTD bus depot too.

If you have the money to spare, the suites are definitely worth it as you get a whole extra living room space to chill out in.

The pool area is great and have kids activities throughout the day.

We got a great deal direct with the hotel including breakfast.

Location is great for DTD.

Don't tell anyone but we walked across the road and used the Disney Transport.
