okay now how can someone who is going at the same time to WDW get a room at WL for $188/night including taxes and I can only get $239 w/o taxes???? The trip is June4-11 2005....I would like to stay at the WL for less than $200/nightw/tax...how in the heck do I get that?????????

I'm not sure how anyone could get a rate as low as $188.00 this early for June. For stays right now you might get that rate with the codes. Even with a AAA discount I do not think that the rate would be under $200.00 a night.
Wait until the codes come out for next year and then have them applied to your existing reservation. The codes for June 2005 will most likely become available in March

That's about a 30% discount...you actually KNOW someone who's already booked at that rate? I don't think it's possible. Not yet, with no available codes. I think AAA gives about a 10% discount, but there just isn't anything else available...unless there's an employee discount or something like that.

No, the OP got that rate from one of my posts in another thread when someone was asking about prices. My trip is next week. I got my rate at the end of August.

That $188 per night rate is a AAA rate, which is 15% off Value Season rate. The rack rate for that time period is $199 for a standard view room. You're time period is Regular season, so the rack rate is $239 per night, plus tax. If you are a member of AAA, and there are AAA rates left, you can get that down to, $239 including the tax. The AAA discount during regular season is 10%, which basically saves you the tax.

Oh! I did read that other thread, but misunderstood and thought the OP knew someone else who already booked for June (or at least claimed to have), at that rate! Thanks for clarifying!
