Just wanted to share my budget wins for this week. I shop at a farmers market on a weekly basis. I was getting some tilipia to make fish tacos. Every week they have a trivia question where you can win something free. Usually lobster or fresh shrimp.
So this week, I knew the answer to the question and instead of taking the free shrimp I won my Tilipia for free.
$10 went to the Disney jar.
Also doing the Giant grocery store gas thing. Basically for every $100 you spend, $.10 off each gallon at a shell gas station. This week, they were running a special where you get an extra 200 points if you bought chocolate chips. I happened to need them so picked up two bags. Went to get gas Monday and got $.50 off each gallon. WooHoo.
FYI: The question was what did Thomas Jefferson promise his wife on her deathbed?
Answer: To never marry again
