We are heading to Baltimore for a long weekend without a car. I would like to either stay in the inner harbor area or near the light rail line to get to the harbor area. Anyone have any recommendations, we would fly into BWI if that helps. Thanks!

When are you planning on going?

What is your budget for the hotel adn how many people?

There are a lot of very nice hotels at the harbor but they can get very expensive.

You can always stay near the airport and take the lightrail in from there. I don't recomend staying outside of the Harbor area.

HTH :)

Looking at April 29 to May 2 or 3 depending on flights. I would like to keep the hotel under $150 a night if we can.

I fly into BWI about once a month.
I use priceline every time, I have always gotten a 3.5 or 4 star hotel near the airport for around $45-$50 a night. Most of those hotels have shuttles to the light rain station that will take you to the harbour area.

Unless you're going to a Baltimore Orioles game that weekend, it's going to probably be very expensive for a hotel in Inner Harbor. The Yankess and then Red Sox are going to be there.

Aghhh, maybe we will change dates up a bit to avoid the people. Thanks for the warning.

We stayed at the Hilton right next to Camden Yards. It was beautiful! We won a 2 night stay, so I cannot comment on price. It was within a short walking distance to the Inner Harbor.

Baltimore is one of the easiest cities to get through Priceline. Just be sure to only bid 4 stars (not less). I have stayed at the Hyatt, Marriot, and Renaissance through Priceline multiple times. Check out www.biddingfortravel.com to see what people are getting in Baltimore and for your bidding stategy. Also, you may want to base your travel dates on other people's bids.

We always book with Hotwire.com. We have booked 4 star and 3 star and have always enjoyed our stay and have saved lots of money on the room.
