Budget thank you for a group

I would like to provide a thank you to another department at work for all their assistance with some delicate issues I have had lately. Does anyone have any budget, minimal effort (which, I know, probably isn't the same thing) ideas? I would like to do this tomorrow so the "thank you" is closely tied to the extra effort. I would like to keep it under $10 or so, for a team of about 10.

My thoughts so far had been donuts or muffins or bagels, or a goodie basket for Pepperidge Farm type cookies-4 bags would put me at $10 this week at my local grocery store. I'd love to *make* cookies tonight, but I was up at 5, here at 6, and will probably be here past 6 tonight. The thought of making anything when I go home is not exciting me :)

Thanks all. And before anyone says anything, yes, I realize that I do not HAVE to do this, and yes, I have already sent off a glowing, appreciative letter to the group's supervisor.

I'd bring in a couple dozen *fresh* donuts (is there a good donut shop near you?)...that should be around $10.... :) Just about everyone loves donuts.

Snacks always are good :) I like the cookie idea very much. Could you possibly add a few more $ and get a few coffee creamers that have seasonal flavors to give the cookies a "boost"?

I work in an office where we often get thank you gifts.
Our favorites are always the fresh stuff, like a pp mentioned
doughnuts, cookies from a bakery or bagels are always good choices.
