I know that Northface and budget don't usually go hand in hand, but I wanted to share this with the other budget minded folks out there.
So, DH decided that his beloved Northface jacket of 5 years (he got it online for less than 1/2 price new w/tags back then) was looking a little worn so he started looking for a new coat. He was looking at the Northface website and found out that they will fix up the coat as part of its lifetime warranty.
All the information is on www.northface.com under customer service. You use tape to mark the areas that your want looked at (pulls, zippers, lining issues, etc) and mail the coat in with a form you print from the website. You only pay the shipping to Northface.
They will check the jacket and repair it at no cost. If they feel any repairs are not covered under the warranty, they will let you know. If you choose not to pay, they mail your coat back.
While the jackets are super expensive this is a nice way to make a coat last a long time!
