Budget rental with Sunpass transponder

Our last rental from Budget, in April, did have a mounted transponder. It was pretty noticeable of how to swing it out to the "ready" position. We just kept it closed and used our own transponder. That is actually the first time I have ever seen an actual transponder mounted, but it was easy to work around.

That was exactly our experience with Budget in November and March.

There is another company that had a sealed box with a switch on it. I've been burned on that one late at night when you think it's in the off position but it's not. That was $40 lesson.
