Budget Rent a Car @ MCO

We almost always use Alsmo, but budget has a great price for our trip. Tell me the process, good, bad, ugly. Anyone who can offer comparisons to Alamo process, I'm listening. Thank you.

We use Alamo a lot too (at MCO), and I like being able to pick my car, but Budget does a great job. They will be able to look up mileage at the counter, so if you are picky, just ask. I have never been disappointed with Budget. Their minivans at MCO are decked out. Oh...the one time I wasn't pleased with the car I was given, they quickly whisked a better car up for me (several years ago). The only group I avoid is Enterprise from a bad experience a couple of years ago. They had this ridiculous process that made employees (dressed in buttoned up long sleeved shirts) walk you to your car to make sure you liked it. Not only did that result in a Looooong wait in the stinkly, hot garage, but the most miserable employees on the planet who walked sooooo slowly...frustrating with such a long line and managing kids in a parking garage. Hopefully they have changed their process.

We used National (they own Alamo) in Jan and Feb and were very pleased. Check them out. Free upgrade.

We booked a compact and got upgraded to a mid online, then got upgraded to a full size at the counter with no wait.
