Another first timer here just like quite a few posters I see on here. Taking a trip with just myself and the kids. 1 day and just IOA for HP of course. Can anyone stir me in the direction of cheapest tickets. Budget minded like everyone else on the boards and right now I've found around $400 for our group of 4. THANK YOU

1 day 1 park tickets really don't get discounted. Undercover tourist seems to have the best prices.

You won't find many discounts on single day tickets especially when you're talking about something as popular as HP. There's no need to discount when people are paying full price for tickets. If you do find anything you should go ahead and purchase.

Since you are only interested in IoA for HP, the price on the Universal website is $85.00/adult and $79.00 for children 3-9 plus tax. Undercover Tourist has the same ticket for $88.95/adult and $82.95/child including tax. There's not much difference.

thanks everyone for the responses... i have looked at both undercover tourist and universal's site but just hoped i wasnt missing something else out there... now just need to get the youngest ds to grow an inch so he can ride the forbidden journey too :thumbsup2

you could allways get him trainers with thick soles lol

haha looking into it for sure... guess i should mention that the inch we are missing is with a pretty thick soled shoe already but i think we can find another inch somewhere

now just hoping he will actually like the forbidden journey ride... fingers crossed

If you also want to maximize your one day at IOA, you could buy several Meal Deal tickets, so you won't have to leave the park to go out for lunch or dinner. There are 1 park and 2 park options, as well as discounted children's tickets.

It's a bit pricey, but a good deal since you have 3 kids and want to save money.

i have thought about the meal deal and kicked around that thought or paying out of pocket and sharing meals... gonna crunch some numbers but thanks for the idea

I wouldn't fool with the meal deal but would rather share meals wherever you wanted to eat. The meal portions are quite large and sharing would be no problem. You can not share on the meal deal.

If you happen to have a Chase Sapphire charge card, you can cash in 5000 points for a 1 day Universal ticket. In general, 5000 points = $50 worth of gift cards, so getting an adult 1 day ticket for that many points is a pretty good deal.
