Budget priced packing cubes?

Anyone know which stores might carry packing cubes at decent prices? I've seen them online at Magellan's and I'm thinking of trying them out to keep my suitcase more organized. I'd like to see them "in person" before I buy! Anyone have any luck with these? Thanks!

Zip-Loc bags.

They work just as well, and if you're not going to travel a lot, they're more budget friendly.

I have the eBags brand. They come in small, medium, and large. I bought some of each, but I like the medium size the best.

The other poster is right though. Unless you travel often, just use some big ziplock bags.

I have used zip-lock bags and they work nicely However, my family and I do travel quite often, and I'm thinking about getting some for my Sis-in-law for her birthday as well. She might not appreciate a box of zip-lock bags as a birthday present!

eBags has some on clearance right now. I've purchased 4 sets! They have great prices!

I was in Dollar Tree yesterday and they had Jumbo zip-lock-type bags in a two pack (for a dollar, of course!). They also had some clothing storage zipper bags that would work well for packing cubes, I think. But you never know what you'll find in Dollar Tree on any given day. They'd be good cheap short-term solutions.

I want packing cubes for the trunk of our Miata. They are NOT at the Dollar Tree. I never knew square duffel bags could cost so much.

Over the years I have saved the clear flexible vinyl 'bags' that new pillow cases, sheets, curtains, bedspreads are sold in. You know the ones that snap close or zip close? They make the best packing cubes. They are sturdier than ziplock bags and have lasted a long time, and therefore I saved somethings that otherwise would have gone in a landfill. Since I have them in various sizes, they have become a staple for my trips.

By the way I keep the emptys inside the suitcases when one trip is over so I don't have to look for them when packing for next trip.

Hi!

I use the Magellans every week for my gym/work bags and they are great, very sturdy, and I can easily see what is in them.

Since they come in different colors, they can also be used for color coding for different family members and activities.
