I need 8 - 8*10 picture frames. I would love to have them matching but I was really wishing it wasn't going to cost me an arm and a leg. Where do you buy your budget picture frames? Any ideas would be very helpful! Thanks!

If you have a Christmas Tree Shop near you that would be my first suggestion. If not, I really like Kohl's selection. They are, in my opinion, very reasonably priced for the quality.

Good luck!

The dollar tree store always has them for a dollar :thumbsup2

I second the vote for the Dollar Tree, I've gotten several there.
Also keep an eye out at garage/yard sales, I see them all the time and usually they are very cheap. I have an assorted collection of them that I paid almost nothing for at yard sales.
My favorite is the Hallmark one I have in my kids' bathroom with a picture of us on vacation in Mexico. I paid a whopping 10c for it BRAND NEW in the box at a yard sale!

I do not know if you have one near you, but Hobby Lobby will occasionally have great sales on frames and such. Big Lots is another place that can have frames for sale that are inexpensive.

Good luck. :thumbsup2

Kohl's always seems to have a good deal on picture frames.

1. Christmas Tree Shop
2. Michael's when they do the 50% off sale, fairly often (plus if you can collect a variety of 40% off coupons too!!)
3. Kohls

just go to goodwill or dollar tree and buy plain ol frames....then grab you a a can of pretty paint and decorate them as you wish :) :) as long as they are the same size....you can make them look fabulous!!!!!

and with that comment...i have officially turned into my mother.....:scared1:

What style of frames are you looking for? Do you need to frame 8x10 pictures or does the entire frame need to be 8x10? Are these to be hung? Do you need easel backs?

I've bought black 8.5x11 document frames from the dollar store (for a buck obviously) but they didn't come with mats or anything. I normally keep an eye out for Target to put them on sale because I can get really nice frames for cheap but they just had a blow out sale so I don't think they will be on sale for another few months.

I found this frame at Dollar General and it was a pleasant surprise. It is framing a 8x10 picture and comes with a really nice, thick cut mat for $6:

Check out Walmart. We always buy the value frames for like $2 or $3 each. The last time I bought them, they only had a couple of $2 ones, so I am assuming these were old and that they were changing over to the $3 ones. They do have a couple of different finishes for the frame.

Thanks everyone. I never go to a dollar store but I tried one at lunch. They exactly what I needed for a $1 each.

Thanks!

It's been said before 99c only or Dollar Tree. Also, I go to thrift stores and get excellent frames for cheapo and lots of times the quality is better.

If you have one close, Old Time Pottery often has wonderful photo frames at really good prices.

They also have good prices on nice framed beveled glass mirrors.
