Hello. I need some advice on a good budget no smear eyeliner, that I can buy
at Wal-mart, target or drugstore. I need budget cost so no MAC, or stores at the mall. Thanks.

BTW- I prefer the pencil type no liquid or the kind you twist up. I'd hurt myself with the liquid and the twist up ones always fallout or mess up-lol!

Maybelline, there is a waterproof one, and i use MAC products but when it comes to eyeliner i get that one

It's budget, but you have to order online if you don't know someone who sells it. Avon has great eyeliners that are waterproof, and don't smear.

I know this isn't much of a budget item, but I use and swear by Urban Decay Primer Potion. It's a cream that you can put on your lash line and eyelid that keeps both eyeliner and eyeshadow in place. They won't budge or form creases (eyeshadow). The tube is $18 but lasts over a year. Also, when you think you're done with the tube you can cut it in half and there's almost another tube full of product in there that you can scoop out. (design flaw on Urban Decay's part).

Ulta and Sephora carry it as well. As a matter of fact you can read review on Sephora. I have yet to find any eyeliner that stays put, waterproof or not.

FYI ~ these items do the same thing *same ingredient* for a lot less - *this one is the best price ~

And ~

It's the Dimethicone.

Buy yourself some good quality black eyeshadow and a good eyeliner brush. It's a lot easier to apply than you'd think, and lasts forever. I like Mary Kay eyeshadow in Coal. I costs $6.50 and will last about a year.

Those products maybe ok to apply on the face, I know the monistat is, but I wouldn't be applying it anywhere near my eye area. I have sensitive eyes to begin with - the Urban Decay never bothers them.

Sorry to say this, but as far as makeup goes, it is just one of those things where you get what you pay for. Cheap makeup is going to smear, flake, turn, or rub off. Pencil liner is also much worse than liquid for smearing or wearing off. I wear clinique, MAC, or smashbox. I find that I end up spending the same amount when I go the walmart route because I either have to use more product and continually reapply to fix it, or end up throwing things out half used b/c they are crap.

which MAC pencil do you recommend? I have a $40 Macy card that i've had for a lil over a year. I might as well buy an eyeliner with it-lol!

I really like the Styli-Style eyeliner...the old fashioned wooden one, not the newer plastic one. The only place I can find it locally is Rite Aid, and it's only about $6 or $7 for a long eyeliner pencil.

I use the MAC shadows. I love the colors nad they last all day. I use them as a sort of smudge liner with a stiff bristle angle brush. I have also had good luck with their basic pencil liner. Clinique is a favorite liquid liner. $40 will likely get you a liner and a couple of shadows.

Those the the twist ones i was talking about in the plastic. I HATE THOSE!! lol!

This sounds great. I am going to try it. Thanks!

What color do you want?

I love MAC eye khols (pencils you sharpen) -- smolder is the black one. Any eyeliner will last longer if you set it with a similar-colored shadow on top.

Or if you're up for it, try fluidline (it's a GEL liner, not liquid) and an angled brush -- I like the 266 which is actually for eyebrows. IMO gel liner are THE absolute best for not budging! (actually, my favorite gel eyeliner is the Buxom by Bare Essentials Lashliner...)

:)

Both Maybelline Unstoppable and Revlon Colorstay eyeliners are good drugstore options.

i was very impressed by the colorstay eyeliner that looks and works like a fine line magic marker :thumbsup2
it actually makes a finer line and stays on longer than my other expensive liners and pencils (studio gear, etc)

ok this may not sound budget but it actually is in the long run

Its Paula Dorf transformer cost $20- But here goes 1 bottle can last you years and it turns any eyeshadow you own into an eyeliner wait a waterproof eyeliner. Unbelievable I know but it is true it works amazing ok so I use it mostly with chanel cake but it works with any I mean any eyeshadow so now you can own hundreds of different liners and change the colors as often as you like for $20.

This is what I've used for years...espresso color...and it's the only one I use. It's auto sharpening and I've not had any issues with the product breaking at the tip.
