I would like to send my mom something to make her smile on Mothers Day, since I won't get to see her in person this year. Any suggestions on what to send ? Webistes you reccomend? Or should I make my own gift basket and mail it? ANy ideas? :)

I'm doing Mother's Day on a tight budget this year since I quit my job & am going to nursing school full time.
I just got into couponing a few months ago & do the CVS extra care bucks for cheap & free items. So, I used my extra care bucks to buy my mom the Perfect Brownie Pan last week for 19.99 & I got $3 back in extra care bucks. I actually bought one for my kids to give me too because I had a $5/$40 coupon from CVS so I only really actually paid $7 per pan after getting back $6 in extra care bucks to use on my next trip.
Then also last week they had Kodak picture movie dvd's buy 1 get 1 free & Kodak had a B1G1 coupon on their website-which made both dvd movies free. So I did a dvd of my 3 kids growing up and it turned out awesome.
My mom don't have to know exactly how much I paid but I think she will love her gifts. She loves baking with the grandkids & I think she'll love the dvd.

I'm sure your mom will love whatever you decide to get her.

I was reading through all the store ads this morning that come with my Sunday paper. I saw really good prices on jewelry, necklaces, earrings, etc. at Kmart. They had Mother's necklaces with charms. Each charm was $9.99. Maybe you could buy one representing each of your mom's children. Each charm would be a boy or girl, and their midsection is the child's birthstone. They also had heart necklaces that opened up so you could put a photo inside. I think you can see all that they have on sale on their website. Just look thru the weekly ad there. :thumbsup2

If you want something nice that will last forever try Garden Smiles! The artist is based here in NWOH and the pieces are beautiful! I have many pieces (I get some as seconds at the shop) and often give them as gifts for weddings, birthdays, you name it. Some of the smaller pieces are not too expensive and they will ship them for you. Your mom can put the piece up in the house, on a wall, on a shelf, anywhere, or in the garden where it can stay all year - I leave mine out in the winter every year.

If your mom has a collection of something, they probably have a piece that would fit in. My neighbor has bunnies so we gave her this one year:

Bunny mini it is utterly adorable sitting on a shelf.

This would make a nice Mother's Day gift:
Thank you

I know that I am getting a green man for Mother's Day (the 5yo spilled the beans ;) )

There are some really expensive items but don't let that scare you just keep clicking through and you can find some of the smaller pieces for a really reasonable price (considering it is a work of art that lasts forever). If you need guidance, give the ladies a call at the store - they are fabulous and can stear you in the right direction.

Good luck & let us know what you decide to do.

PS - they are on Facebook too if you want to see how people have them displayed: Carruth Studio

I got tote bags with openings for photos at Bed, Bath and Beyond on clearnace for like $2 a few weeks ago. Today it was beautiful so we went to the park and took photos, one of each girl, one of the 3 of them together and one of all 5 of us and got them printed and put them in the slots. I made 4 of them for about $12. Cost me $15 to ship 3 of them. Not too bad I'd say. They may still have them, they had tons of them.
