It will be me and my 3 kids who are 7 , 10, and 16. Where would you suggest use stay? pop century or off site and off of site then which hotel?

Pop Century is awesome But we have stayed at most Disney Springs Hotels and DoubleTree is very Nice and the xtra room is great so it LBV Palace.

Is it easy to get a shuttle to get to the parks?
Also we are flying in so we will have to get an Uber to take us to the hotel and not sure how easy or pricey that is If we choose an off site hotel.

I would say stay at Pop Century - it's our favorite value resort, especially since it now has the Skyliner. The off-site hotel shuttles don't run as frequently as Disney resorts buses (I think hourly, but it's been a while since I've stayed off site). Also, if you are planning on going in 2021, you have the Magical Express to take you to/from the airport to Pop.

When are you going?
DME has been a very convenient on-site perk, but is going away for 2022.
Currently, many off-site resorts are not offering their standard parks shuttles, so be sure to ask about that when booking.
If going in 2021, I might chose POP for DME and the parks transportation. In 2022, I'd suggest pricing out car rental for offsite vs on-site with airport transfers.

My vote is for Pop. If your 16 year old wants to do anything on their own they could use Disney transportation to get to and from the resort and the parks.

I’ve never stayed offsite, but I know hotel prices are usually much cheaper. However, the transportation issue is what has kept us from trying it. I can’t find anywhere that seems to have reliable shuttle service to and from the parks. If so, I would love to find out!

It's definitely Pop for us. We've stayed there 3 times and it would have been 4 if not for the pandemic. All the rooms have been refurbished and the pools are nice. If things are somewhat back to normal, the food court is larger than some of the other Values. The dedicated buses and Skyliner is a perk. A lot of time will be spent getting to and from parks if off site.

If money is a priority, the All Stars are quite a bit cheaper than Pop.

I would only stay off site if you rent a car, or are ok with using Uber/Lyft to get where you want to go.
