Budget car rental code

DH and I are taking at trip to Bal Harbor, FL w/out the kids in August. I was able to get a Mustang Convertible for $188 (4 days.) Transferring to Budget saved me $50 on my reservation (originally with Dollar.)

Thank so much! :cool1:

i used code v92304 which i got from rentalcars.com i reserved a full size from 3/4-3/11 (1 week) for $121.63

I just booked a mid-size car w/Alamo using the Entertainment Book coupon. $157 for 9 days, including all the numerous fees & taxes.

my cousin told me about the code at Costco also. She does this all the time and does not even have a membership with them. They never ask for the card.

I got an intermediate for 1 week (last week in April) $140 including tax.

I nned a minivan in Nov. It came up 640.00 on budget. National was 710.00. OMG thats crazy. I have an Emerald also. Any ideas? :confused3

Donnaskpro8,

Did you try using all of the codes on mousesavers.com, I used the Priceless vacations contract # 6600330 and the Ent. Book code and reserved a intermediate class car at a rate of $149.00 for 8 days in October. PM me if I can help you with the codes.

Thanks! It only saved me $3, but this late in the game a savings is a savings. (we only have 2 weeks to go) I had a ressie using the Walmart code, but cancelled after I booked using the code you posted.

"What?" you're probably asking...........

If you've already been to a website (ie - Budget or Alamo), you may want to clean out your cookies on your internet files. This way, you're "new" and you may get a better deal.

I did this back in May and saved about $17.

Just an FYI/FWIW - We went down in May 2004 and rented with Budget (via Costco) and couldn't be happier. The lady at the service desk was friendly, gave me a map and wrote directions on it, price was very good and included both me and DH as drivers.

Fast foward - we went back in Sept (yes, we're fanatics) and this time booked through Alamo. My advise - be careful. I orginally sent my DH to do this and they tried to charge him over $200 (with add ons) for a car that I had confirmed at $119/wk. When I showed this to the woman at the counter, she told me that it was a "special coupon" and that I needed to print the web coupon (there was no web coupon - I dbl checked when I got to Disney and was able to get online). In the meantime, we had to haggle back and forth with her (like it was her money) :confused3 and FINALLY got the rate down to within $20 of my original quote. She still tried to tack on a bunch of extras (including the full tank of gas option, which I knew we wouldn't need), and she would not let both of us be designated as drivers, unless we paid yet another fee (it was clearly spelled out on the verification printout that I had received that there was no charge for an extra driver).

We're going back in April (yes, it's an addiction) and we are renting again w/Budget.

Anyway, sorry to ramble, but that is my two cents worth.

I just got a good deal with Budget for a Mini Van for 7 days. Base rate is $189. total estimated prie $239.00 It's a Special right on the "home" page. Hope it's helpful to someone.

We are going to Disney at the end of May/beginning of June for one week. I used code w852800 on the Southwest.com site to book a minivan through Budget. I got a base rate of $162.61 for the week, $208.72 total. I still can't believe it.

Where is this code from? Do you need anything to use it? Where on the southwest.com site do you put the code in?

Thanks.

The code is a Costco code. On the Southwest website hit the selection for car rental on the home page. It will bring you to the page where you enter in dates and times for rental and on the bottom of that page you can enter your preferences for rental company and car type. To the right of that you can use the drop menus to enter in codes for different rental companies. The code I used was showing a rate of $300 earlier today. The prices fluctuate so check back often.
