"What?" you're probably asking...........
If you've already been to a website (ie - Budget or Alamo), you may want to clean out your cookies on your internet files. This way, you're "new" and you may get a better deal.
I did this back in May and saved about $17.
Just an FYI/FWIW - We went down in May 2004 and rented with Budget (via Costco) and couldn't be happier. The lady at the service desk was friendly, gave me a map and wrote directions on it, price was very good and included both me and DH as drivers.
Fast foward - we went back in Sept (yes, we're fanatics) and this time booked through Alamo. My advise - be careful. I orginally sent my DH to do this and they tried to charge him over $200 (with add ons) for a car that I had confirmed at $119/wk. When I showed this to the woman at the counter, she told me that it was a "special coupon" and that I needed to print the web coupon (there was no web coupon - I dbl checked when I got to Disney and was able to get online). In the meantime, we had to haggle back and forth with her (like it was her money)

and FINALLY got the rate down to within $20 of my original quote. She still tried to tack on a bunch of extras (including the full tank of gas option, which I knew we wouldn't need), and she would not let both of us be designated as drivers, unless we paid yet another fee (it was clearly spelled out on the verification printout that I had received that there was no charge for an extra driver).
We're going back in April (yes, it's an addiction) and we are renting again w/Budget.
Anyway, sorry to ramble, but that is my two cents worth.
