I'm checking prices for a minivan rental in October and everytime I start off on the canadian budget site, I end up on the .com US site. Is this what is supposed to happen? There's another thread that talks about how its cheaper to go through the canadian site. What am I doing wrong?:confused3

Are you sure about this being budget and not expedia? expedia.ca has good prices on budget cars .... is that what you are thinking?

I don't think it matters which budget site you use, as long as you identify yourself as a Canadian resident. I got a good rate with Budget through a Costco.ca link, and I'm pretty sure it redirected me to Budget.com, not Budget.ca

I think because you are renting in Orlando it is going there. I did the same and it was a .com reservation and quoted in US funds. Make sure to use the discount codes quoted to me on a post last week. I saved a few hundred dollars and have a minivan for 12 days in March for $450 plus tax. If you need closed I'll pull my reservation and post here. Let me know.

Your best option with Budget is to use BCD Number x474200 (travelocity public code) and E-Coupon MUGZ029 for $30 off. Total for a week inc taxes and after coupon is applied when return vehicle is $272.84. I checked Oct 13 - 20th.

WoW webworm! That's the best price I've ever seen!:yay:
Now this is through costco? Do I need to belong to Costco? It says its a corporate rate, do I need to show I'm part of some company? Last question, is there an expiry on the codes, I'm thinking I should book flights first (waiting for Southwest to open more dates).
Thanks you!:worship:

I got it from another thread:

"Budget has good deals for Canadian Residents

I know there are some great codes for car rentals over on the Transportation thread but Budget.ca or Travelocity.ca has some good rates for Canadians renting in florida.."

I did check Expedia.ca and right now the price of a minivan is around $460. Last time I checked it was only $240 :(

No you don't need costco membership since it is a travelocity code. I just attached link for booking.
