Tomorrow DH and I will celebrate our "golden" anniversary (as I have decided to call it) . . . 16 yrs on the 16th!

We don't typically exchange gifts, but this year I would like to do something fun or silly or whatever. Of course, I've procrastinated so now it's a time crunch. I was thinking of something "gold" for our "golden" day, but I can't think of anything. DH is not a jewelry wearer, so that's out. And, as the big day is tomorrow, it can't take a lot of time to prepare it.

Any suggestions???

BTW: We both work tomorrow all day and then are going camping for the weekend with several friends, so it can't be going out or cooking, etc.

TIA!

Kim

If I were you I would go to massages after work to prepare for your weekend. There's nothing like starting a vacation off with both getting 90 minute massages to help you relax and get into the zone.

Other than that my go to gift idea is always to experience something together. Usually it's sporting events  because my husband loves sports so I'll get him Cubs, Blackhawks, Bulls, etc tickets.

I'm sure that isn't what you wanted but just in case...

Just going with the color, how about a gold box of Godiva candy - I think they even have a 16 piece box.

That's a cute idea. I was going to say a restaurant gift card to somewhere that you both like and you could wrap it up in a box filled with Wherthers (is that how you spell it?) the little caramel candies that come in the gold wrappers.

I wish I had time to get a massage before we go! But still a great gift idea we could do later. I don't know if he's ever had a real massage.

That's a great idea, too!
