Hi All, it looks like we may be going back, in May on a last minute trip so were wanting your advice on good quality budget hotels not too far away from WDW. There are only going to be 2 of us and need to have at least a fridge in the room. We will only be using the room as a base as we will be out most of the time so don't mind it being a bit basic but must be clean and not too tired if you know what I mean. We would like it to be in a decent area. Hope you can help, any info would be really appreciated. Thanks one and all in advance.
Cath :thumbsup2

Hi Cath
What dates? roughly if you have not booked flights yet.

Hi Wayne, thanks for the prompt reply, we were thinking end of May, after 24th, we haven't booked flights yet, were thinking of using first choice and waiting for a last minute deal, the offers they have at the mo are about £200 per person so pretty good really, hope they stay that cheap into May!!!
Cath :)

Doubt First choice will be low for last week of May with it being half term but hopefully you will find something. Plenty of indirect sceduled from about £300pp. We go on the 21st May with AA cost £322pp

Hotels.
Ramada Plaza Gateway Hotel And Inn £15/night
Not my fave but many like it Comfort Inn Lake Buena Vista £19.50/night
ESD Extended Stay Deluxe Lake Buena Vista £26.50/night
Country Inn & Suites Lakes Buena Vista (We will be here 21st~30th May) £29/night

You would need to check they still all have a fridge in room. Loads more between £15-30/night, once you get flights post again or PM me and will see whats available.

didn't realize it was school hols so maybe we will go beginning June. Where would I be able to book those hotels at those prices?? I looked at the .com sites and they seem to be expensive in $.
First choice are offering 2 weeks with Continental Plaza Hotel Kissimmee room only including flights and car for £530 for both of us if we could go next Friday which is amazing but we are at a wedding next Saturday, my husband would prefer to go and miss the wedding but he hates weddings anyway :lmao: like most men really!!

Will look at the ones you mentioned and see what we can find, if we overlap timewise maybe we could grab a beer?

Thanks Wayne,

Cath and Mark

hmm, choice of going to a wedding or cheap trip to Florida. I would listen to your husband:rotfl: We are missing a wedding in August and they wanted me to do the flowers, even family weddings(or funerals) don't stop our trips.

2 very good sites just now for hotels.
great4hotels.com code D446B for £25 discount or Quidco give 7% cashback can't use both. This is site I used, paid £28/night at country Inn LBV

Monarch.co.uk 5% cashback thru Quidco.

With the stronger $ almost always better booking in UK in £'s unless travelzoo have any bargains. Odd time deals on there are worth booking in $'s.
