Does anyone know if FW has buddy sites? They normally fit two RV's with the hookups laid out so your awnings will face each other. We are planning to go to FW along with some friends that also have an RV.

Thanks!

All sites in the loops are oriented in the same direction, generally with foliage in between for privacy. The best you can hope for is adjacent sites, but there is no guarantee you will get that. You will have to request it at the time of your reservation, then fax in your request 2-3 days prior to arrival and hope for the best.

On our last trip we were at the Marina end of the 700 loop, site 735??. Because of the curve of the road the back of our camper faced the awning of the site next us, site 733??, it made a T shape. Not a true buddy site, but we could see their awning while sitting under ours. www.disneycampers.com/ has some good loop maps and descriptions on it.

The closest you could get to a Buddy Site would be by using the 2 pull through sites in the 1200 loop. Back in from the 1200 loop and back in from Fort Wilderness Trail.

Have them link your ressie number together in the system. We have never had a problem camping together. We have done it with 5 other families at one time. No problem at all.
