I'm still in the dark about how a buddy list works. I once hit the wrong button and added someone by mistake, but so far that has been my only experience with buddies. What's the deal?

The buddylist is just a convient way to have your list of buddies in your cp, so you can pm them easier, without having to hunt for one of their posts to pm them. Also, if they are online, and not invisible, you can check your buddy list, and see if they are online or not. Basically, about the same as having people in your addressbook in your email accounts.


One could, in essence, put everyone on their buddylist, without anyone the wiser

Excellent series of books, I've recently finished reading them, although I thought Lachesis was pronounced with a hard 'K' La Ke sis?
