I will be in Orlando on Feb 28 and was thinking about going to the Bud n Bbq and the Jason Aldean concert. Anyone have any idea how much the Bbq lunch costs......1 adult and 1 child and is it a good time. It will be our last day so I want to make sure it is worth it before we make plans.

The all you can eat BBQ picnic is $15.99 for adults. $13.99 if season pass holder.

They have booths set up on the sidewalk to the stadium where they serve BBQ sandwiches, ribs etc. separately or in platters with cole slaw and baked beans.

It was $7 for a platter with BBQ beef sandwich with our passes so probably about $9.00 or so without out passes.

We went to the Blake Shelton concert last week and will probably go to the other 3 concerts as well.

The park is open till 8. They have a Shamu Rocks show at 7:30 so there is time after the concert to do a few things, too.

I noticed that there were VIP tix available for $49.95 at the park the day of the show. It includes All You Can Eat BBQ Buffet, front of the line priveledges on rides and seats "on stage" for the show.

Does anyone know where these seats "on stage" might be? Are they worth the extra $50??

Thanks for any info!!:thumbsup2

They were white folding chairs right down by the stage. Technically you aren't paying $50 for them since $15.99 is for the BBQ picnic We didn't want the picnic meal cause just don't eat that much so find it cheaper to buy separates and don't really need quick queue unless you want to ride journey and kraken. . The stadiums are huge so lots of seats for the concert.
People were already in line the minute they opened the gate to get to that area of the park at 11. We didn't line up till about 2:00 for Blake Shelton. They let people enter the stadium at 2:30. They had ropes they put up after a certain number were in line and then opened each group of people in a really organized way so there was no mad rush to get into the stadium. We were back 3 or 4 ropes by the time we lined up; but still found seats in the 8th or 9th row at tops. We weren't in the center section under the booth, but in the first section to the left of that section. Really had pretty good seats. Was able to get pictures with my digital that only has a 4X zoom.

Once the people lined up were seated there seemed to be lots of available seats until just before the show. Stadium was full, though. For Jason Aldean, I think there will be even a bigger draw from the locals because he is from this area. We are going this weekend for the Kenny Rogers concert. I imagine this one will draw a lot of us that grew up with him in the 70s and 80s and it seems old people<g> line up sooner. I may settle for just being somewhere in the stadium instead of near the stage for this one.

Thanks Rabflmom!! Do you have to line up early even with the "stage seats"??

We are kind of freaks about getting front row and/or in that neck of the woods for a particular band that is playing soon!

For Kenny Rogers concert yesterday, people did line up even at the VIP line to get the front row. He filled the stadium and there were lots of people sitting on the grass outside the stadium. I'm not even sure if they could see the stage from the berm around the stadium, but it was packed even there. They have a big screen over by the other stage for overflo to watch the concert over there, too.

Even if you don't line up early, there is a limited number of chairs so you will be close to the stage.
