Bucket popcorn onboard

Never bought popcorn before onboard

can we buy a bucket and just pay for refills when we need to ?
how much to buy / purchase ? And how much refflls ?

Refills are $1.50. The prices of buckets vary. I just bought one on the Wonder last week and it was $18 but it was a 'special' bucket, I think the 'normal' ones are closer to $9 or $10.

We bought a bucket recently and the second time we went to refill it they said they were out of popcorn for the rest of the cruise. Said supply wasn't delivered. From others on this board, that was was not an isolated occurrence. So our bucket was sort of expensive.

They ran out of popcorn early on on our Canadian cruise on the Magic in October - they said the port did not have it in NYC !!

You can also bring a bucket from WDW. I’m local and brought my 50th anniversary bucket when I went on the Fantasy this summer.

Wow. I would actually be kind of annoyed. I mean, they had to have known that when they sold you the bucket initially. I would have asked for a refund honestly. Not in a mean sort of way, but just a "hey, I bought this thinking I could refill it and now I can't so it sort of defeats the purpose. Can you take this and charge me for the cost of a single serve popcorn instead."

On our cruise a lot of folks just brought french fries from the quick service food places into the theater. Very nice substitute for popcorn, and free.
