Bucket list for this trip!

Busy working on the list - a mix of things we've never seen or done and things the kids missed on the last trip but that DH and I have previously enjoyed.

7. Ride the railroad all the way around the park (have ridden, but never the whole loop)

2. Characters in Flight balloon (kids haven't done - was too windy the day we tried last trip)

1. Campfire sing along and s'mores
2. Watching Wishes from the beach

Now that I'm writing it all down, it sounds crazy and ambitious, but with 10-day hoppers, I think we'll have plenty of time to check most, if not all, off the list. And it isn't a hard and fast list - the number one rule for us is to be flexible and remember anything missed can be done on another trip.

So there is a beach at FW to watch wishes? I think that would be ideal for our family! I love this wish list!

Great list! Not sure when your trip is but Peter Pan is scheduled for a renovation - October/November time frame, I think. You can check this or someone else will know.

There is a very nice beach with good views of the "high" fireworks and often the sound is piped in. If the timing is right you can catch the fireworks and then the electric water pageant.

You're going to love the Fort !

Great list,
The Carousel of Progress is a must see, (IMHO).
Young people today don't know about the more simple daily times we (myself) grew up in and this is a AWESOME visual for them,

My absolute favorite splurge thing to do in dw was breakfast at Cinderella's castle BEFORE the park opens. It is so fun to see the park before all the crowds, and then to see everyone rush in.... Loved it! If you can get the kiddo's up early , and it is in the budget, totally worth it!

Love the list. Don't know if it was temporary, but the balloon at dtd was not there when we visited last fall. Perhaps someone there now can update us, as dw had not ridden and wanted to.

Pocomom, do you have any boys? I've always wanted to eat in the castle. And castles and suits of armor and stuff are not inherently girly, but I'm wondering if the breakfast would be "princess-ized" to the hilt and make it not so appropriate for Me, DH, and DS who will be 10 at our next visit. What is your honest opinion? Any families without girls there?

I have one little boy, and two girls. The actual breakfast had princess all over it. But the castle was cool, and the boys got swords (and my Tom boy 11 year old girl during the breakfast the princesses all come out twirl around and take pictures with you. But for my older not-into-princesses dd the castle was cool, the food was awesome and getting into park before everyone else was the highlight of her trip. If any of the other restaurants offer in the park breakfast maybe you could try that? getting in before opening was just so cool. Btw my little ds tried to slay the princesses with his sword, their reactions were hilarious... Jasmine actually threatened to fight him saying she is not like these other princesses....
I would still go without little girls...but maybe I feel different when my boy is older.....

Thanks fort the good description! It just sounds a little too princessy for us...but i can always ask DS what he thinks.
