Honestly, my DH and I would love to stay at every DVC resort! And if we’re talking bucket list, experience every Grand Villa! Especially the one at Aulani.
Same! My goal is to stay at all DVC resorts eventually and all the GV/cottage/cabin/bungalow type rooms, even if only for a few nights each. So far we’ve enjoyed a BWV GV and have an upcoming stay booked at a RIV GV.
We have used RCI for a week stay on Maui, and we would do that again if we could get it again. It was one February and the Villa we had had a balcony from which we could see whales, often. It was the most amazing stay ever for 150 points for a full week stay. It was a one bedroom, and my DSis joined DH and me. After that we went to Aulani for a week.
And I don't own there and have stayed maybe a dozen times. Actually, let me amend that. I've stayed in the DVC room maybe 5-6 times and before they were DVC, as a regular hotel guest in CL level.
For DVC, 7 month window, 1 night at a time. Occasionally I see a night available and will book it, hoping for 2 - 3, but it's more difficult now. I often do a week at BWV or BCV and 2 or 3 nights somewhere else on property.
And, to continue, I am doing a bucket list trip in a grand villa at Hilton Head for Thanksgiving in November.
Whole immediate family (part of the bucket list) for a week. Actually, I have the GV for a week but some may have to work the first 2 nights.
This thread has also inspired me to try for a Cascade Cabin. Otherwise I have little interest in the Wilderness Lodge area. But so much love for it makes me want to check it out.
Grown kids have a bucket list to go to Aulani. So far they are not aspiring to a grand villa, so I'll put some points towards a room for them.
Of all the WDW resorts, I haven't booked Riviera yet. Maybe I'll do a 1-2 nighter on one of my trips just to get the feel and to try the restaurants.
